Our Goal
The major goal for The A-Team is to raise a monetary goal of, at minimum, $2000 to benefit the Children's Cancer Foundation and their sponsored families through multiple fund-raising events by November 23rd, 2009. 100% of the proceeds will help assist in not only medical bills, but also basic necessities associated with certain childhood illnesses.
Additionally, there is a specific need to increase Volusia County's awareness of the Children's Cancer Foundation. Severely lacking exposure to the media, community, and potential donors, every effort to inform the public of the organization is a crucial role in providing hope and success for so many children and families in difficult situations. |
Major Objectives
Golf Tournament Raise a minimum of $500 by organizing and hosting a chartiy golf tournament at the Turnbull Bay Golf Course on November 7th, 2009
Motorcycle Poker Run Raise a minimum of $500 by organizing and hosting a charity motorcycle poker run at specific locations throughout Volusia County on November 22nd, 2009
Hearts for Kids Raise a minimum of $500 by setting up point-of-purchase donation events at major retailers throughout Volusia County by November 27th, 2009
Shots for Hope Raise a minimum of $500 by selling alcoholic beverages at Jesse Blacks Saloon (Daytona Beach, FL) and HalfTime Sports Pub (Deland, FL) every Tuesday and Friday night until November 27th, 2009.
